dc.description.abstractThe teaching learning process of the English language is sometimes troublesome. In most of the cases, the students are not able to develop the necessary abilities to achieve the required communication. Speaking is a communicative ability to be developed, which is considered one of the most difficult to be achieved, mainly when the students are taught without a systematic practice. Generally, teachers do not provide varied and motivating activities which help the students develop this ability. Through this work, a set of activities is proposed in order to contribute to develop the students’ oral expression. For this reason, the authoress made a deep analysis on the methodological guidelines of this course as well as the students´ need to develop this skill. Summing up the exercises need to be highly motivated and appropriate to be used at this level. When working with the protagonic and coherent style, students showed themselves more awkward a motivated to fulfil the activities assigned, showing in the same time, what they learned in the teaching and extrateaching activities, and their behaviour in the school, house and community. The consequent application of the proposal activities helped to the consolidation and learning of English as a foreign language. So it can be affirmed that the material applied was really effective since all point of view. Finally, the authoress referred to the results obtained from the application of some instruments and techniques.es
